Any idea where the oil is leaking from?

Hiya,

I have a 2.0 BMN Quattro 2008 which is losing oil over time (and seems to have started losing coolant too)

There's oil visible around what appears to be some sort of actuator, near the timing belt region, a little on the alternator too. Any ideas on what could be leaking as I'm clueless.

Swirl flap actuator has worn a hole in your plastic intake. Very common on BMN engines, mine has the alloy one.

this won’t fix your loss of coolant or the majority of oil loss...

Yeah, figured this out by accident scouring the web.. replaced it with the BKD one from darkside. It's fixed the hesitation I would get on occasion whilst accelerating though.
