Looks like the tray has cracked right across and the felt is falling out of the crack?

Yes I think so mate. Do you not have a tray at all? Or is it the front section missing?

I have one at the front that covers the sump etc yes. Not wool in it though definitely. I do the oil myself.

Does it have the holes for where the insulation is clipped in?
