Hi guys and gals,

My house has raised floors and air bricks all around. I know I can't block the air bricks off completely but I have a constant draught coming from between the floor and skirting boards and from under all the window sills. The house has cavity insulation but made little difference. The plaster boards are held with 'dot and dab' method so the draught comes through any small holes cracks too.

What is the best method to sealing most of the holes/gaps? Expanding foam etc?

Cheers.

Dan

No don't use expanding foam, you'll be in a right mess, use a silicone gun with a tube of painters caulk in, go round once & fill the gaps & clean off with something like a putty knife while it's still wet, when it's dried after a day or two it will sink a bit, repeat as before & decorate.

Great stuff, thank you. Something for the weekend.......
