Any bathroom fitters know what make this is?

Hi. Are there any bathroom fitters or plumbers who know what make and model this shower unit is?

The door hanger has snapped so the rollers don’t sit straight on the rails. The unit is about 5-6 years old

Thanks

Not personally but the wife has a friend that paid a lot for a new super swanky wren kitchen recently, turned out to be a real horror story , from the fitters being terrible and the quality of workman ship just as bad, only surpassed by the very poor quality kitchen fittings etc.
Like I say , not used them myself but based on what I have seen in the flesh etc , i'd give them a miss by a long way.

Have a look on Soak.com or one of the other on line sellers . You may spot your screen. The wheels are available in a few different styles and are pretty cheap.

I hate customers like you. Sorry but these wheels are a f***ing nightmare same as toilet seats, shower seals and valves. Unfortunately all these parts are very different and mostly made in China on the cheap. So they may look the same but I assure you they are not. When you need parts most of the time you can’t get them as these online firms, wickes and Homebase etc keep buying these items from different factories driving the price down which unfortunately means you get poor quality products. Buy cheap buy twice.

When doing a bathroom or kitchen only buy British, German, Italian, Turkish or Irish made gear. My bathrooms were not cheap but I expect everything to last 20-30 years. Even my rental properties I spent a little bit on quality as I knew long terms items won’t breakdown as much

Alright money bags, the hate parts a bit strong ain't it.. some people can't / don't want to pay a fortune (for various reasons).

I take your point about buying cheap buy twice (which i agree with) but don't assume everyone has pots of brass to fund 'high end' parts/gear, it maybe down to a simple case of the bathroom is being replaced soon so it doesn't need to last, in which case the **** option will do.

Nothing prevents the seller from saying that it is made in Italy if the brand is Italian. We will guess that the production of all this is in China only after the first breakdown.

Made in Italy. Some duravit I admit is made in China not Germany but the Germans make sure of the quality.

I’ve been doing this job almost 20 years and visited factories in for kaldewei in Germany, Novellini in Italy and Svedberg in Sweden. So I do know what I’m talking about

I can sell a punter a full bathroom (quality one) for £1500-2000 and you’ll get at least 10 years out of it.

Bet you spend more than that on your car .

My rentals I’ve spent about £1000 each and 13 years later there still going. Just avoid DIY stores and visit a proper specialist shop.

I managed to source similar metal parts. The installation surprisingly was a doddle. Now I just need to fix the leaky shower.
