Anti-corrosion warranty results - Please post here

    Good luck Dan, i'm currently fighting audi to cover it under warranty as i'm not willing to pay their 70/30 split for something that is stated in the warranty. Sucks that yours was badly repaired :(

    I'm in a fight with audi over corrosion to my two front wings, and a roof gutter.... Usual 70/30 on the roof, point blank refused the wings as they say the bumper has been off and damaged arches. Nonsense! They're refusing but have gave me the number for 'motor codes' Has anybody any experience of dealing with them?

    roof rails towards the rear, outer edges. Passenger's side is barely visible, Rear boot bit,
    TIME TO WARRANTY CLAIM FROM FIRST NOTICING IT;
    Took it to audi for assessment after having read of problem and associated claims on forum
    HOW LONG YOU HAD OWNED THE VEHICLE AT THIS TIME;
    2 years
    DEALER APPROACHED;
    Audi Cambridge (Vindis)
    OUTCOME (APPROVED, ) Offered a 70% contribution, so as with others we will pay £300+ towards warranty work..The car has not had any repairs, was thoroughly checked over by the bodywork guy with paint meter - who has been very helpful - they say they will also include the boot bit in the work.

    In some respects a bit miffed that the 70/30 applies but the car is almost 12 years old and the problem was not raised earlier so can accept their stance.

    Audi Harold Wood
    OUTCOME (APPROVED, ) Offered a 100% Contribution, and replacement 2014 A4 to use for three weeks. Booked me to my availityb i was on holiday for a month in jan so booked in for 2 months later.

    Body work was sub contracted elsewhere, they took the ****. three weeks to replace two fenders and paint match. Happy to rip around in a SE Tecnik for 3 weeks.

    Got my car booked in for 2nd July 2015 at South hereford Audi, literally got it in just in time before warranty ends.

    Getting both gutters done and front arches :D 100% contribution!!

    Happy S3 owner!!

    Oh, And I get a courtesy car....... Wonder what that'll be

    I have perforated rust on the wheel-well of my 2004 A4. Took it to a dealer in North Jersey, Paul Miller Audi. Zone rep (Patrick) made up a story and told me I was in an accident and that caused the rust. I was never in an accident and I'm the original owner of the car. I called Patrick's boss and told her about the made up story, she said she would look into it, but never called me back. I went to 5 collision shops, including Paul Miller collision, who all stated, in writing, that the rust was due to faulty workmanship and not an accident. I called Audi corporate with these facts, they called the zone rep and told him to review again. Been playing phone tag with the dealer who apparently is trying to get the zone rep to meet again, but it's been going on for 6 weeks. I called the GM of Paul Miller Audi and left a vm telling him about this scam, however, i doubt i'll hear back from him. Audi just seems to be a bunch of unprofessional liars. I'll get a lawyer soon and hopefully expose this for what it is, a scam.

    I know this is under the 8L section but has anyone had any luck with the 8P? I think I may have some bubbling on some wheel arches :(

    Thanks dude, I may take it down there on the weekend to see if they will honour it.

    I did think about creating another thread, it's only because there's some A4s in here too.

    How many years does the warranty cover. My car has started blistering on the passenger side roof rail.

    The warranty period for the paint on an Audi 8L is 12 years, I managed to get mine done literally within a week of it ending with 100% contribution... I was one of the lucky few.
