Another problem

Having got my sorted or so I thought I now have the esp and abs light on my dash .. I've disconnected the battery and left for 20 mins then reconnect the battery and no esp light . So went for drive and ESP light went out but esp button won't work ..but soon as I pressed the break pedal both esp and abs light come back on also cruise still works ... Might it be broken switch maybe ???

Anything in VCDS? Have you checked all 4 ABS sensors in VCDS? Do you mean faulty brake pedal switch or faulty ESP switch? I wouldn't of thought an ESP switch would cause the ABS light to illuminate. However, a faulty ABS sensor would put both ABS and ESP light on.

Well just been to the shop and it's mended its self very weird

Sounds like your brake pedal switch could be dying. Only about a tenner from TPS or main dealer, & easy to fit.
