Im hoping you guys can help me identify an annoying vibration I have on my car: its a 2006 A3 3.2 Sline DSG sport back
Its when decelerating/lifting off the throttle, more so down hill
From the driver side, footwell/wheel area/bottom on steering column
Happens when pressing the brake or not. albeit lightly
Usually at low speed between 1300 - 1800rpm in 1st or 2nd on the flat, but also in 2nd at 2500rpm when going round a long sweeping left hander downhill, about 2200rpm
Hardly at all when the car is warm
Similar vibration when stationary and starting the car, but only very slight
Had it up on ramps and nothing appears loose or excessively worn. Im thinking engine mounts?
