annoying Audi vacuume hose clips!

is there an easy way of undoing those annoying clips that are on most vacuume hoses? Fit my silicone intake the other day and ended up getting the dremel out on half of them! there has to be a better way?

I've always used a decent pair of side cutters to cut the crimped part of the clip off and replaced them with new spring clips.

that, or use a small screwdriver to lever up the end of the tab, and it will pop off.

Yeah, small flat head screw driver to leaver and twist the tab, just be careful not to damage pipe.

I use either or really, small flat screwdriver or side cutters. I did end up replacing them with some very small fuel hose clips tho.
