AMI help - will this work?

When I bought my car it came with the AMI cable suitable for iPhones (lightening).

I have a Samsung so I am thinking of either buying a new cable, OR... buying an adaptor to go from lightening to samsung..... do we think this will work??

Just buy the proper lead for it. They are temperamental with non approved aftermarket bits.

I've changed IPhone to Samsung.
I have the lightning cable and the USB cable.
Will try my Samsung cable in it later and let you know..
What Samsung do you have.

I know thats the best option but if I have a genuine iphone cable and i can adapt it to work with Samsung it'd be a winner.

why not buy a bluetooth wireless lead like a tune2air?

Yeah that's next on my list if this little £2.50 experiment doesn't go to plan
