B7 Ambient temp

The outside temperature reading on my car is way off. Reading 8 to 10 degrees higher than it actually is outside. Ive changed the temp sensor clipped to the front bumper, but its made no difference. Any other ideas?

So I've noticed that when the car is cold the temp is around the correct temp. However as the engine gets up to temp, the ambient temp increases. Again was 27 degrees today.
