Ambient Lights Activation

Hello everyone,

I own an audi a3 8Y without ambient lights and I recently bought a complete kit to install them. There is the possibility to change the colors directly from the MMI, currently this function is not active.
Does anyone know the procedure for coding ambient lights with OBD Eleven?

Nice, all those parts are pretty easy to remove , post some pics when it's fitted

OK, but I need a guide to code the lights, so I can change the color from the MMI

Did you ever have a go at this mate? I'm expecting my A3 later this year, was absolutely devastated to see when i ordered the extended ambient light pack was no longer available. IMO the interior lacks a premium feel without it!

I've seen this kit about which tempts me, but didn't know what the install & wiring process was like for a relative novice.

Would definitely be interested to see the process & finished result!

Wow that’s impressive! Looks virtually factory!

Is this kit one on alibaba? I’ve seen one similar on there (link) that tempts me. Don’t seem to be any options for RHD like your kit.

Looks great how did you route the cable for under rhe front seat ? Just interested the carpet ?and onto the seat
