Ambient lighting mod

Hi all. God Im full of questions today. Thats what happens when youve got plenty time on your hands......gets boring after a while though.

Right....my S3 didnt come with the ambient lighting mod so is it possible to fit this item

I had a look on Tyresmoke forum and the fit is only buying the 2 LED's which this has I believe and fit them to the panel. Would it just be a plug n play scenario then or being an Audi heeps of strip this out, dismantle that etc etc.

If he bought the entire unit, as the seller states, it should have the ambient light module with it....and yes, the unit is a straight swap. Just did this on my S3

Make sure you buy one in the right colour!

Thanks buddy. I like the ambient mod as having the red lighting onto the centre console is quite groovy....well IMO anyway. Yeah it is the correct colour for the interior of my car.

I had the additional lighting pack in my A3 and was missing it badly in the S3. Retrofitting the footwell and puddle lights next

oh and the LEDs aren't in it, much to my annoyance.
