If it's the Gti accel pedal it's a very easy swap along with the other pedal covers. Fitting is pretty straightforward. Undo a couple of screws, remove the cable connector. Takes a bit of brute force to do though.

It's not too bad a job. Just make sure you fully press in the release catch until it clicks. Then the cable comes out easily.

A little how to can be found here. You can't buy them from audi-accessories any more but they are available on vagparts.com.
