Alloy Refurb

Alrite guys, my alloys have started too flake so going too get them refurbed at the same time as new tyres fitted so looking for 2 peices of advice!

1 - is powder coating alloys any good? as a guy here does powder coating just wonderd if anyone had experience?

2 - best rubber too fit for an S3 in price range 70-110 per corner unfitted.
looking at dunlops sport 9000, prielli rosso, yokahama advance sport, prelli p6000 etc its for a general driver.

powder coating is far more robust than paint - its baked on to the bare metal, but the colour can look a bit odd, particularly silver although anthracite is usually quite good.

i had mine powder coated, then painted and lacquered, but it costs more cos they have to do both finishes -

Looked at his coulour charts yesterday and silver was pretty close too the alloy coulour so hoping it will be ok still not 100% tho sure to go or not!
