alarm siren

after never hearing the alarm but hearing the ocasional beep beep noises and searching the forums came to find out that the siren batterys are knackered and leaked acid all over the circuit board now will the car still be fine with the siren disconnected until a replacement can be bought or could the imobiliser kick in?? tested the central locking and starting the car and everything works the same as before but just dont want to get stranded away from home because the siren that does not work is not connected

it will be okay with it disconnected, just order a new one from Audi as soon as you can.

Better remove the battery that leaked. Its ok to disconnect it you will not have problems with it.
