Alarm issues

my car seems to have a mind of its own when it comes to the alarm, it just seems to go off for no reason,

the little red light on the drivers door seems to flash when you lock the doors for about 1 min, then stay on permanently, then goes out all together,

any ideas ?

I had a similar problem with mine a while ago, it came down to one of the motion sensors having dust/debris in the sensor head, try a soft tooth brush, gently brush over the sensors and then hoover them, it worked for me.
