Provided my bonnet gets sprayed/fitted alright Saturday.

I’ve lost my wristband - I’ve spoke with Calvin (aitp) and he states I have to pay again on the gate - but can’t get in until 10am.
Will I still be able to park in the ASN area, he says access is OK...

Should be fine, we normally have people arriving throughout the morning :) drop us a line when you arrive.

No doubt the band will turn up when you get home one Sunday!

I was planning on getting there around 9am tbh - saves the little one (well he's 10 but still little lol) getting up too early.

I’m a bit late to the party here & haven’t been to an event of any kind before so not really sure how it all works when on site.
Despite the horrible weather, I am going to drive down today & arrive as a pay on the gate entrant.
My car isn’t anything out of the ordinary, it’s a B8.5 Tdi 177 quattro in Floret silver, but would be nice to park amongst other forum members if possible.
Any info would be great.
I’ll try to be a bit more organised next time.

Just ask when you pay where is the Audi sport.net stand they will direct you where to go.

Why are the tickets dearer than last year?

Audis in the Park is not run by a big company, it is run by one man and a group of volunteers. Running something the size of Aitp obviously comes with costs and these costs are covered by ticket sales.

With the introduction of more stringent Health & Safety procedures to ensure everyone has a safe enjoyable day, costs to meet these new laws have risen, Couple this with the fact that as the show grows, costs grow...more toilets, more security, more signage...the list goes on.

Not really a big deal anyway to the individual I suppose if you want to go :) !

To be fair, £10 was a bargain for a show. I know some shows might have a bit more going on (although not many do) but most are around £15 - £20 so still a fair price really.

I think these are all fair points, Audi Driver is still £10 though and there is on track action too.
