i had decided 2 remove my steering wheel 2 day 2 update it. i had taken of the air an realized that i didn't ave the right star key to open the steering wheel an take it off i had put the air bag back on and the airbag lights have come on (peddles are working fine and horn) any experienced this before?

usual error when removing any airbag from the system. You need vcds to reset the error

i currently looking for a FBSW and i believe the air bag would get changed would i still have to get this done?

YES.

As soon as you disconnect any air bag in the car, even if the battery is not connected, you will still get an airbag light on your dash when your turn on again.

No way round it

Great info as i have the same airbag light
