Airbag Issue

i've heard there are problems going from single to dual stage, and it makes sense since you're adding a non existent connector or whatever.

but what about going from DUAL to SINGLE? is that even possible?

i bought this 2014 steering wheel and it uses single stage, and my car original airbag is dual stage.

any help or feedback will be appreciated
