AGU Single coil conversion?

As we all know, the ignition system on these things is utter scrap.

A mate mentioned doing a single coil conversion from a Vauxhall Cavalier/Vectra 2.0 16v engine (X20XEV).

Does anyone have any info regarding this?

I've never had any problems with mine Stan, after 80 000 miles, and 50 of those at stage 2, I've never had an ignition issuethat wasn't down to Plugs, which can be the same for any system.....

It's the later me7 ecus with push down coils that suffer failures regularly
