I have an option of buying an ECU from an AGU engined vehicle, which is the type that can be mapped I’m lead to believe rather than chipped like my AJL unit. This ECU has already been in use on a TQS, and mapped previously for use with a K04 Turbo setup. The immobiliser has already been mapped out as well. So couple questions
- can I use this ECU on my TQS straight away?
- will a remap which is for an K04 work with a standard TQS?
- if the above is no, then could I just use this in the future if I swap to a K04, and just have it remapped at that point?
Im hoping somebody will be able to answer me, and I apologise now for my absolute lack of knowledge on turbo tuning.
