After 5 years timing belt change no matter the millage

hi everyone, I’m up for the service next week with my 2013 a4 b8.5 and just wanted to confirm just in case, the dealer I bought the car from called me and said I’m due for the timing belt change. I’m on 49000m so far from the recommended mileage , is the 5 year change true or just the dealers scam?
Mate of mine had his done at 80000 recently on a5 same year and engine.

It's 5 years or the mileage whichever comes first.
