Hi guys,
my APY head on the S3 was cracked. The mechanic couldn't find a second hand S3 head so they fitted a AEB head of an A4.
The car runs and there are no fault codes, but there is no SAI on the new head.
First question ; what to do with the pipes coming of the SAI pump, they are open on both sides now. Can i just leave it this way or remove the SAI all toghether?
Second question; i did a N249 bypass, but now the pipe coming of the N112 valve is going nowhere because no SAI. do i just lose the N112 valve and go straight from inlet to DV?
And last question, what is the sensor(not connected now) where the SAI used to be on the head?

I assume they used your cams etc when they swapped it? Inline cam pulley is different to transverse.. they also run a different cam position trigger wheel...

K04 turbo'd engines also run shims under the exhaust springs to add preload...

There is an SAI and N249 thread in the FAQs
