AEB Exhaust Port Size

Has anyone got a AEB head on the bench that they can measure the true exhaust port size?? (Mine is fitted and I want to do some porting port on a 'Chinafold' before fitting)

I think its 38mm.

You dont want the manifold matched to the head, you need the head to be a tad smaller than the manifold to prevent/reduce exhaust gas reversion.
Id take the manifold to gasket size if i were you. I know for a fact the gasket is bigger than the aeb exhaust ports.

36mm and 33mm for small port.

36mm or 38mm, I have got a gasket so I can certainly measure that size.

BTW Exhaust gasket is 41mm

Yup, just measured my AEB head, the exhaust ports are 36mm.

The AEB exhaust manifold measures 38.5 though, not that it's any use on a transverse car.

If you leaving the head at 36 then its prob only worth having the mani 1 or 2 mm bigger.
