I’m fitting new front upper arms, I’ve searched and found various ways and measurements to do this but I’m unsure if measurements are for base line or sline what’s the best way to get the correct angle for these ?

What do you mean by the correct angle? My understanding was(is) the bolts should be torqued with the car on the ground, that's the correct angle.

Just take one arm of and replace the new 1 where the old one sits don't take both arms off at once. And so on from the same level.

I have seen a diagram somewhere giving the correct angle for the arm position, I can't think where though.
But I think you're correct, torque up with the weight if the car on it, or the hub jacked up to simulate.
