Advice please

Hi All, a mate of mine has a 61 plate A5 s line with a concert head unit , he cannot get music to play off a 4 GB sd card the music is in MP3 format and the card is recognised and works in my wife's B8 and my sons 8V.
Amy ideas what might be going wrong ?

Would assume if the SD card worked in you Wife's B8, should work fine in the A5, so that would suggest its a fault with the unit.

What brand SD card is it, what format is the card in and how exactly was the music put on the SD card from your PC?

I recently uploaded a load of albums from a 16gb SD to my Jukebox. Had to ensure it was formatted into FAT32 (MS-DOS (FAT) in OS X Disk Utility) and the song files were imported via CD into iTunes in ACC format (.m4a), and I simply dragged the file folder create in iTunes onto the SD card.

Would try another couple of SD cards, double check the formatting of it and the music files, and if it still doesn't work you can be sure its the unit.
