Advice on tow bar fitting for B7 A4 Estate S-Line

Hi all,

I was looking at getting a detachable tow bar fitted to my B7 A4 S-Line and was hoping to get some advice please. Not sure what to look out for.

Yeup, I self fitted, first detachable kit I bought from an Italian manufacturer, I sent back because the detachable mechanism was rubbish. Ended up buying a used fixed which wasn't for an S-line and the swan neck fouled the bumper slightly, the S-line has a sort of double chin, anyway I made it work. Lots of trim to come out of the back, all of it! Wiring with a standard bypass relay was no problem and has worked fine.

The standard detachable one is a Westfalia. Clears the rear bumper fine.
Had to fettle my alternative lip though.
