Hi Guys, first post so go easy on me!!
I have recently replaced my 06 a4 2.0tdi sline avant with the new a4 17obhp version.Having test driven a standard sline 140, i decided to go for the 170 even thogh i thought that the dashboard is designed by saisho, and the quality is well dumbed down.A Bm and merc were not an option!.It drove ok, but not as well as my old 06, but I put that down to bieng used to it.HOWEVER, my new car came with 19" wheels fitted with 255 bridgestone potenzas (Id have preferred contis or goodyears, but they only come with bridges or dunlops) and of course 20mill lowered sport suspension as opposed to the 30 mill s line susp that comes with the standard s line.To cut a longer story shorter, this car handles like a shopping trolley...soft and wallowy in bends and whats worse when driving over uneven tarmac roads itll skip and jump.I just dont trust it and am ruing the decision to have the 19" option.Big mistake.Look great drive crap.My dealer might swap the wheels with a stock vehicle, but wont do anything about the suspension. My question is..whats involved in lowering the suspension to the 30mill s line settings.Any help gratefully recieved, as im ready to torch it!!
thanks
