Advanced key and debit/credit card chips

Has anyone had the issue of their advanced key stopping your debit and credit cards working?

Might just be a coincidence but I have a credit card and debit card recently both stop working with the chip. One was a card with 3 months to go before expiring, so pretty old, but my other card was only 3 months old.

Can't say I have tbh and I always keep my keys and wallet near each other

Always have my key in same pocket as my wallet. Never had an issue.

Ahhh.

Sorry guys. I know why. Last weekend I put my work key pass into my wallet. Must have messed around with it!

Nope... and I'd be surprised if your work pass did anything too, unless it's stuffed full of magnets or something?

Well they were both working fine until the week after I put my work pass into my wallet for first time ever lol. Might again be a coincidence. I’ve ordered two new cards now anyway.
