Hi everyone.

This is just a short introduction, I’m Dan and I’ve worked for Adrian Flux Insurance for nearly 23 years.

If any of you on here have any general insurance queries or specific problems with Adrian Flux insurance please let me know. I have handpicked a small but dedicated team of staff who with me will try and assist you wherever possible. I can assure you we will be completely impartial despite being on the payroll of Adrian Flux. If we have messed-up we will acknowledge that and make efforts to get it corrected. If any of you do not understand an insurer’s viewpoint we will do our best to clearly explain it.

It could be problems ranging from simple paperwork issues to major claim disputes. With our many years of experience we should be able to answer most queries immediately. If there were issues or a problem that we can’t answer directly we would ensure that a relevant manager investigates these and we would then be able to relay an answer back.

I hope this will be of some help for you.

On behalf of myself and my team, thanks very much.

Dan.

Does the 15% discount apply to people who already have a policy with yourselves but have joined the forum after?

Hello,

Depending on which insurer you are with we can apply club discounts mid term on a policy and allow a pro-rata discount if that insurer allows such a discount.

Regards,

Dan.

when you say "very competitive", what's that in relationship to, given gocompare etc listed about 12 cheaper than the quote you gave me, and the one i went for was less than half?
don't know how your dedicated handpicked team worked, but i got a quote through in under a minute which seemed to be a general computer-run thing, but as i said on another thread, given i live in a decent area, do less than 7000 miles a year, have no tickets or points and have over 12 years NCB, i'd have thought "competitive" would not have meant double what others offer me.

Just saying a quick thanks to Flux. Having been busy at work lately I havent logged in here for a few months and had no idea that they were offering a discount to members. When I rang for a qoute they asked me if i was a member of any clubs/forums and i mentioned this site and they automatically threw the discount on. a nice surprise when you have to stump up a load of cash!

no thanks. too late for one thing, for another i am a customer and expect to have products/services etc offered to me. i don't expect them to be there only if i happen to spend my time and effort "discussing" an offer in the chance i might be offered something far better. if you can do far better, advertise that and you'd get my money. don't try and con me w/ some high quote in the chance i might take you up on it, and only offer cheaper stuff if i then call you to "discuss" it.

Big discounts with new Audi TT insurance scheme

Audi TT owners can save up to 15 per cent on their insurance premium after owning their vehicle for a year thanks to a new policy from specialist broker Adrian Flux.
The new scheme covers everything from the early turbo-charged 1.8 litre cars right up to the latest R5 TFSI and V6 quattros.
The UK’s leading specialist car insurance broker has more than 35 years experience of dealing with performance cars and is committed to helping drivers find the very best deals.
“The Audi TT is a special car and we share the love that owners have for them,” said Gerry Bucke, general manager at Flux and a former TT owner.
“We know that drivers of performance cars take special care of them, which is why we can offer such great insurance deals.
“We share drivers’ passion and enthusiasm for motoring and don’t want them to pay ridiculous amounts to insure their vehicles.”
Extra discounts are also available to members of owners’ clubs and those who agree a fixed mileage limit.
For further details about Adrian Flux’s Audi TT insurance schemes, visit www.adrianflux.co.uk/audi-tt/ or call Flux free on 0800 5876311.

Audi TT facts:
● The TT was first shown as a concept car at the 1995 Frankfurt Motor Show
● The car takes its name from the successful motor racing tradition of NSU in the British Isle of Man TT (Tourist Trophy) motorcycle race
● The TT name has also been attributed to the phrase "Technology & Tradition"

hi all thought id say i pm'd dan yesterday with my policy no asking if discount was available for me.
somebody rang me this morning from adrian flux and i explained about this post and they put me on hold for a couple of mins then came back to say they would give me discount and after admin fees they knocked off £87 which is great and im well pleased i asked now.

Hi Dan could you contact me as my insurance is due soon and I'm looking for a quote. Cheers

I've just had a quote of almost 1600 for a A3 S Line, whereas I got a cheaper quote of 1100 from Admiral, much cheaper than you guys...

I don't understand why people are wasting their time getting quote from you guys when they could instantly form confused.com, this is what I did, cheaper and instantly insured :)

Because you get a discount for being a member of this forum and speaking to them directly gets you the best possible price, as with any insurer or broker, they will not always be the cheapest, however i have just insured with Adrian Flux after using all the search engines and they were the cheapest with the lowest excess, also had the best cover.

I have ended up paying 380 with lots of benefits and 200 excess, my renewal was nearly 700 with a 350 excess (admiral)

Always worth shopping around and Adrian Flux are definitely worth a call IMO

Its also different for a lot of people, just because they werent cheaper for yourself doesn't mean they wont be for other people.

Car insurance are like round robins, I've been shopping for car insurance for 15 years for modified cars, and every year, a different company is cheaper! AdrianFlux had my business on the S3 for 8 years, in between there was a break with Greenlight. Last year infact, I got a better quote by a fiver elsewhere, but saving the hassle of moving companies, I stuck with AF due to loyalty! Unfortunately, they was not competitive on my last renewal by a long shot which is a shame, so I moved on.

Adrian Flux doubled my premium on renewal for none fault claim, looked elsewhere and got a better deal. Also took them from March to October to settle the claim.

Insurance is as it is mate so long as the cover is good go with the best price

i feel i have had a poor quote from adrian flux here is the small story......

i phoned up about a week ago as i thought my renewal is in august as i found out i couldnt obtain a quote that far ahead so i ran a quote through there helpline
on. a s3 remapped to 260 bhp, with upto 12k per year and im 22 with 3 years No claims comprehensive..... i was quoted 1114.00 ish

however 2 days later i double checked when my insurance ran out witch is actually less than a month away .......

so i phone again asking for the same quote but with 4 years no claims bonus and the said it would be pretty much the same price ...... 1114 .00 ish

So as it seems no claims bonus doesnt seem to make much diffence per year .... i am awaiting a call back from sky insurance to see what im offered. as i am dissapointed with these quotes

Awesome work 120 quid cheaper than my other quote, also no mods declared on that one so would have been a lot higher.

Cheers Dan :beerchug:

Just a quick post to let you know i'm still here for any insurance help guys - I'm going to have a more active presence on the forum so please do get in touch! :)

Dan

Hi Dan,

I used the link in your op to get an online quote. It was fine until i reached the "Occupation" part. No matter what, i can't add one... I click on the Add button, then i select "full time", Occupation, Employer's business and Employment status then click on Save. No error messages at this point but still: "No occupations added. Add an occupation". If i try to click next: "Please add at least one occupation"

Any idea?

Hi, im asking on here if you could contact me about my policy. Your company is currently threatening me to cancel my policy in 7 days after a mistake, i am certain, on their behalf about my deposit payment from 2 months apparently being cancelled by the cardholder.

Could you give me a ring please, my car reg is NV05 SZX to find my account.
I hope to get this resolved.

Regards, Jon.

thanks, someone rang me this morning, so im looking into the situation, im thinking this may be a bank problem rather than mine or yours.
Il get back to you.

you guys couldn't get anywhere near for myself :( over double what I've been quoted by others sadly

A couple of times now on different occasions I've tried to get a quote from your online system but the email never turns up, and yes, I checked spam folders etc.......

Same here, i did a second quote a few days ago and don't seem to be getting any emails back or anything.

I just want to be able to give you my information and get a quote back - I shouldn't have to chase things up (or go well i can get it for this price can you equal it).

It is slightly disappointing and off-putting.

I tried Adrian Flux. Why do i need to call to get a good price? Surely secure email can be done?
Tried this morning and i was left on hold for ten mins....i hung up and will try another insurer.

Hey I phoned up yesterday for a quote but didn't know about this discount
I'm going to collect the car tomorrow if I phone up tomorrow morning will I be able to get the forum discount added to my quote?

Is it worth me checking for a quote lol, 17 year old , Audi A3 2.0tdi sport , s line rep, 2004. Just bought , have another car but don't get a NCB for another 3 months.

Brilliant quotes these guys are giving these days. Just got a quote on my Audi 30 notes cheaper than green light all mods declared and also have my supra insured with them too!

So after renewing my policy with Adrian Flux, i was happy with my quoted price of around the £475 mark.
After checking my payment, i noticed it was higher so i rang back and questioned it, only to be told that there were extra's added onto the price.
1. was personal accident cover. Yeh fine whatever its £15.
but the second was a £45 admin fee for renewing the policy. Why would they need a £45 renewal fee? this is the first iv ever heard of this daylight insurance robbery, i was also told that its non refundable (obviously...)

These were never mentioned to me when i rang to renew, and only the £475 price was mentioned rather than the over £500 price.

I understand i may of missed the part about the personal cover, but at no point was i told about an admin fee which i would have to pay, in which i could now have the honour of paying you monthy for my insurance.

Im not going to cancel the policy or faff about with anything like that as its always more hassle than its worth (especially with the 'non' refundable fee). I'm meerly letting others know of this, and giving some feedback about my service.
I will be looking into other providers at the end of the year.

Jon.

Strange one this, did you just renew from the quote you was given by post/email? Or was it a brand new quote?

On my renewals, I get quoted a figure which clearly states 'includes admin fee of £xx', so I'm surprised your renewal quote did not include the fee? Even calling up for a new quote, the quotes include this fee, why would they add it on afterwoods?
