adjusting idle speed

How can i adjust idle speed on vw bora TDI 2001. (not p.d engine)
I have vag-com.........registered version Engine idles at 903 rpm
i know coolant sensor is faulty as its reading 76.5 ,maybe when i replace that it will bring revs down ???

Stands to reason tbh if readings are wrong & faulty sensor especially on the coolant side, cause all kinds of issues from faulty sensors
