Adding DAB to MMI 3G low.

You haven't said which model of car or year, but in general the answer is yes.

Apologies, I assumed that mmi 3g low was the same whatever model it was in.

I have a B8 A4 Avant Dynamik, I did find some info through Google, doesn't look so straight forward.

Well yes and no. But it really depends on your model and year. The B8 avant has the right glass and yes you can fit DAB. Kufatec sell a kit that is fairly easy to install, I've done several of them. There is a lot of trim removal on the Avants to fit the antenna and wiring to the radio module.

How can I find out what MMI unit I have. I currently own a A3 2013 model new shape. I am not even sure what model it is for example 8v. 8p.

I have a 2.0 SE version with a few extras

The new A3 has MMI 4G with the MIB II system. I think DAB on the A3 is a new Navigation unit withDAB built in, it is not possible to add a Fiscon to the A3.
