Adaptive xenon headlight flash

First post from me and a little strange one.
Got a MY2015 with adaptive xenons. When I flash the headlights they seem slow to react, you can track the shutter moving from inside the car. This may be quite normal and how they are suppposed to be hence query.
My old 2010 S3 with standard xenon flashing the headlights seemed instant. Any thoughts would be welcome and thanks in advance

They are a bit slower but that’s normal. As long as they do the little ‘shimmy light dance’ on start-up you are fine.
