Just reading the A3 brochure and noticed the adaptive xenon headlights, it says it's not standard on the s line but obviously all s lines have the xenon lights, so is this an upgrade to the system to allow them to move around and adjust at speed? If so I'm a bit disappointed that wasn't standard as I'm not paying 300 quid for that silly option.

Adaptive 'Xenon Plus' is an upgrade option to the standard Xenons on S-Line.

Personal choice whether the additional features are of value.

Yeah, S-line gets non-adaptive xenons as standard. If you go for SE or Sport and add the Xenon light package then you get the full adaptive lights included (plus a few other bits which I can't remember).

Agh gutted. I'm paying cash so maybe I can haggle them to half the price or throw it in.

Already know the answer to that though before I ask it! :/

I'm sorry, but I really wish I had these lights.

Why did Audi stick us Americans with the plane Jane Xenon lights that can't do jack but look straight.
