Accident Damage

Having enjoyed the thread about our cars of the past, thought I would amuse you with the accident photo's of my first car.

Learnt some valuable lessons:
1) Don't drive like your pants are on fire in an old car

2) Don't brake on a bend

3) Don't hit a wall in the ditch as it will flip the car end over end

4) Don't tell your Dad that it wasn't really that bad

The car actually drove home (only a mile away). And yes I know about the hair, but it was 1992...............

No pictures but one of my previous cars was an E reg E30 BMW 316 which I bought new. Picked it up from the dealer and was on the way home when I ran into the back of a learner driver at a roundabout. The car was 14 minutes old!

it looks to me like that mk1 fiesta was driven exactly as it was deisgned to be

my first car was a 1.1 mk1 fiesta, and it was suprisingly nippy, and always predictable!....

I T-boned a Nova with my mk1. It was quite a good shot actually - the Nova was doing about 40 on a main road and I pulled out. Couldn't have dtimed it better if I'd have tried... fiesta was ****** although not quite as bad as yours (or the Nova)!

my first car was a fiat bravo, no pictures but that was rolled into a field painful night especially in the blistering wind and rain

had a few casrs inbetween that which survived

then had my corsa, 2 years happy driving

then i had a front on collision with a new fiesta

had it fixed at a cost of £4600 to the insurance company, had it back 71 hours and i got T-boned at a junction by a brand new civic

then it died and i got the audi, and iv never looked back

first car i bought myself was a brand new 2005 Renault Megane RS (please no bad mouthing, i'm still sensetive about it)...

it lasted all of 9 months and met its end when it refused to turn right and smashed into the barrier by the side of the road. ok maybe the driver was also a bit of an idiot :

Il try n dig out pics of my dads Xr3i, well my mum panicked as she reversed out the drive, across the road into oppposite neighbours drive totalling his Capri with Zakspeed bodykit.
