Hi,
I've just bought a 2010 TFSI that the trader says has a full service history.
I've signed up to myAudi and given them the VIN etc but no history is present.

After contacting their digital support dept they said I either need Audi connect or I have to go to my nearest dealer with a V5 and some forms of ID to change the ownership.

Has anyone else had to do this?

Thanks

I had same issue I bought I audi service book sent it off to Leeds audi and they stamped it for me.
Its bit of a raf this digital service history.

Yeah seems difficult to sort - hopefully popping in to my nearest Audi should help?

Let us know how you get on I had to send copy of driving licence and logbook to get the stamps.

I’ve heard this happen a few times. Once Audi recognise it’s now your car they should show you everything.

Good shout above from Marky about going back to paper based too, it’s much easier to keep an eye on going forward I find.

But much easier to make up.

I’ve been told if I go to Audi, they’ll print it all off. Didn’t realise I’d need V5, licence and inside leg.

Yes, my daughter owned a late 2009 SEAT Ibiza from new with dealership servicing until 2015, I did all the servicing after that but did not mark up the paper service record, it appeared on sale as "FSH" - so yes, with a pen you can make it up, slightly naughty for a dealer to quote that though even although a full record of everything that had been had to that car was presented with the car when it was handed over to a used car dealer for a bit more than a SEAT dealership would have given as a trade in, but in reality I suppose it did have a full service history recorded somewhere.

Call audi uk on 0800699888 they will tell you over phone when and were and if it was serviced.

That's how I found out at about mine at 1st then went paper route.

At least next owner can call so they know I have not made it up gives peace of mind alot of fakes like @AGL80 states.

My last service was audi specialist so have all invoices and receipts to prove stamp.

I like to see invoices and receipts when buying a car not just a stamped book.

All servicing should be computer logged like MOTs in my opinion as anyone can fake stamp a paper service book

If you chose to do it yourself thats fair enough but be prepared to take the hit when you come to sell
