ABS Module code

Hi,

does anyone have the code for an ABS module for an Audi A4 1998 Avant 1.8 petrol auto or can point me in the right direction?

nothing on that link anymore, all i`m getting is the following message

What do you mean "code"?

If you mean coding, there is no coding on the older ABS controllers, you just buy and fit the correct part number, and it works.

Cars with ASR, or ESP, require coding.

a '98 A4 wont have 5.3 with ASR or ESP, so it cant be coded.

that`s what i thought but a couple of people said i would need to recode the replacement. I did manage to get a replacement with exactly the same part number so should be fine.
