Abit of techie info needed

Right I'm wanting to swap out the mk1 xenons from my s3 and put some facelift ones in, can anyone tell me how to adjust the wiring so I can fit an aftermarket 8000k hid kit to the original wiring? As I understand the xenons that are in it run a different set up??
