So i have a 2013 A8 I have been dealing with an issue with terminal 58s for years it's driving me crazy ( short drive)
I have no button illumination on center dash, console, vent lights front and rear.
I have a vagcom used to have a 58s fault, I finally tracked it down to a broken wire in cup holder, fixed that and the fault cleared, but still no lights..
In vagcom it shows 0% on terminal 58s ( percentage since its a dimmable circuit) , I have no power out of J519 module on plug T32a and T32B gr/bl wires.
it's almost as if it is not being told to turn on? it is triggered by night sensor , side marker a couple others, the other circuits that are triggered by same conditions are OK , dash lights , climate button lights etc.
??? any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!
also can I tap the 58s wires into another circuit, or try to apply power to the circuit while plugged into the J519? or am I asking for trouble and am I going to fry my module or brick my car if I do?
