A6 tdi airbag light on! looking at purchasing car?

I'm looking at buying an audi A6 1.9tdi, it's a 1998 s reg, it's done 144000 miles, but wot worries me is the airbag light!

It's conststantly on so summits up? i know these are common faults on cars (my astra n mums cav both cost £££) but just wondered if anyone has experienced same problem and wot it cost! and how it cud be fixed.
I know it needs resetting but if there is a broken connection?

Also any opinions on the car? too high miles? i don't doo alot of mileage about 7000 miles a year.

cheers, well as for service it's due for one now! and it missed one at 110000, other than that regular service at audi dealership.
