Hi everyone, im new to this forum and this is my first post. i have a 2006 a3 sportback 2.0tdi quattro s line. i recently bought a set of a6 le mans edition alloys (rs4 style) they are 8.5jx19H2 ET48. i was wondering what tyres would be best on these rims? two of them have 225/30/19s and they are extremely streched and make the wheels look s**t on the car. what is the widest tyre i can get on these without rubbing? was thinking about 245/35/19s. also planning on lowering the car in the near future.

I would be very surprised if you managed to get 245/35/19 tyres fitted. The reason I say this is I am running this size of tyre on my B7 A4 and they are a little wide on the inside of the front tyre. I would imagine the max you could go would be 235/35/19 even then this might be wide, I think its all down to the width and offset really.
