A6 exterior door handle trim removal

Hi,
Could anyone tell me how to remove the exterior door handle trim (chrome top type). I don't need to remove any of the mechanism just the face trim but am a little concerned I may break clips etc.

I did have a look at that on YouTube but I think it is on a C5.
I have figured it out today though. Surprisingly simple really but as always if you don't know, you always fear damaging something.
