A6 Estate tyre size

Hi Guys.
Have a 2006 Audi A6 Estate and love it. Only thing is the tyres 23/35/19 that don't offer much protection so I purchased 235/50/19 to give me a bit more protection from potholes and mainly MY WIFE!! lol...
I have been told that these tyres won't fit and rub when on full lock possible ripping front bumper off?. Hope this is not true or ibwill have 2 brand new tyres going to the skip...

If you want a higher sidewall, you need smaller wheels

235 is too narrow for a Le Mans anyway I think. I'm sure they should be 255/35 x 19.
The extra width would give you a bit more height in the sidewall too, but if you are finding the ride that bad you might want to consider going to 18" wheels from an S Line like mine with 245/40 x 18 tyres.
