Hey guys passenger door won’t close tight unless you push it just above the handle have cleaned around the lock and greased it but still won’t close
Any help pls as it’s driving me nuts

New lock mechanism most likely.

that’s if the door is all aligned correctly.

have you tried spraying WD40 into the lock itself?

Sprayed loads of wd40 in didn’t really help
Did the trick where you close the door over on a piece of wood worked great for a few days but when it was frosty went back to not closing

In the past the only cure is to replace the lock usually, I’ve had the locks apart and you can try and grease and free it all up but you’ll have to strip it down to it’s components, then test it before putting the door back together.

Can I use the rear passenger door lock to replace it with

No they don’t fit iirc, and they have the gubbins for child lock which the front door doesn’t have.
