Hi All,
After a few years of owning my 2010 A6 LeMans edition I've decided I need to fit Bluetooth streaming.
Ive spent a lot of time researching this and bought a cable that I thought would work on my system:

Cable: Amazon product

Turns out that this wont work as my CD Changer has fibre connectivity, that's a bummer.
I've looked though so may posts on this forum and others but cant find a definitive answer.

What do I need? Is it the whole AMI unit, which requires coding?
Or is there some sort of adapter I can use to retrofit?

I don't want to spend crazy money as I'm likely getting rid of the car in the next 1-2 years but anything under £120 is reasonable and from what I've seen that's not an option.
The other option and I didn't wan to to take that route due to poor quality is just an FM Bluetooth transceiver.

Could someone please point me in the right direction?

Much Appreciated!

Hi mate,

Don't know if this helps but before I sold my S3 8L, I fitted a bluetooth receiver from ebay and spliced it into the AUX lead and that gave me bluetooth music streaming through the AUX function on my RSN-E...

Sorry if that's no good to you.
