A6 Bluetooth.... or not?!

Hello all, would appreciate any help here regarding getting a handsfree mobile set up in the car.

My car has the telephone 'receptacle' in the armrest, ie, the set of electrical contacts and cradle. However it doesnt appear to have bluetooth, as when trying to pair my iphone with the car, nothing happens.

How can I tell if I have (or have not) bluetooth? If not how do I get it?

Or do I simply need an audi handset to get full phone facilities? I do have the voice recognition.....

Any pointers or help would be much appreciated.

Had a look on the tyresmoke forum, a guy had left instructions on pairing your phone. I was trying without the key in the ignition. Put the key in, turned on phone and 'Audi ****' came up instantly, paired it and hey presto, phone is a runner.... made up! just got to work out what to say to the car now to get names via voice recognition, etc.
