Hello
I’m looking at potentially buying a 2007 A6 2.0 TDI 7 speed automatic with paddle shift
Cambelt has just been changed so what else should I look out for or ask about?
I’ve got a diagnostic reader so I’ll be taking that with me
What’s tax on them cost?
As they are quite a big car, what they like on fuel? I’ll be commuting mainly motorway miles
Thanks

I think our tax is £145 or something like that.

Feel for any vibration if you’re stopped and the vehicle is in D on N. Could be a sign the dual mass flywheel is on its way out.

Obviously check everything works as it should. TBH I’ve had mine for 6 rears now and other than servicing, brakes and tyres it’s been faultless.

I’ve could that the leading edge of the roof is prone to getting chippped.

How many miles and what spec is the car you’re looking at?

It’s got 143 miles on the clock and it’s the 2.0 tdi se baseline model , belt been done August 2018 and FSH, done background check on it and it’s not a previous write off or anything
