My 2012 A6 Avant was written off last week :-( It had winter tyres on with some cheap alloys, so I still have the original 17" alloys from the A6. I'm getting an 2015 A4 Avant (S-Line) to replace it and am wondering if I could put winter tyres on the A6 alloys and use those on the A4, rather than having to get another set of cheap alloys for the winter tyres.

(I could sell the A6 alloys, but as they're 17" ones I don't think I'll get much for them).

Any thoughts?

What offset do the A6 wheels have?
An A4 17" wheel is ET45

112 PCD 66.56 bore

Going by what it says on here they will fit fine.

You can find the actual offset off here for the wheels you have

Again the offset looks good and the Centre Bore is the same size as the A4.
Tyreleader is very good for winter tyre prices. I use Nokian on my car, very good reviews and very good performance all around.

They should be fine. I put my 18" on the A4 when I changed wheels last year and they looked good. No rubbing or problems.

Thanks everyone. I thought they would be fine. Now I've got the A4, I may try fitting one with the current (well worn) summer tyres on and check for rubbing before I go and buy the winter tyres
