A6 1.8T Waterpump location 1999

My A6 has started to overheat when driven hard or motorway driving. I have done a search and the most likely problem seems to be an impeller blade in the pump.
I have no idea where it is or if it is accessable.
Any help would be appreciated.

It is located at the bottom left of the engine block as you look at the engine, to get to it you need to take of the timing belt of, and all the assocaited labour invoved in doing that. So if you are going to get it fixed budget to replace the timing belt as well.
