Ibis white S5 looks great mate.

How are you finding it after the RS3.

I traded a TTS for the S5 last November, so have gotten a noticeable increase in power - imagine the RS3 to the S5 is similar yeah ?

Is the garage in the picture the S5's ?

Hope its wider than mine - My TTS was a breeze to get in the garage but the S5 is a bit wider and tricker to get in.

The RS3 and S5 have the same power but the RS3 being smaller and lighter make it a more nimble car ,the S5 is a lot more comfortable that was the main reason i changed.Yes the S5 lives in the garage but you've just got to be careful whilst manoeuvring it in there Lol.

Sean it was strange,i'd just finished washing the car and thought i might as well take the side badges off now rather than tomorrow ,anyway just started cutting through one side with dental floss when i thought i could hear an RS3 and then looked up and there was Bluey with John and Judith complete with dental floss white spirit and other bits and pieces ,i'd told him the night before that i would be washing the car and was going to remove the badges ,he and Judith made a surprise visit to remove the badges:respekt:

I thought that would be your take on it.
Same for me really - the S5 is a LOT better for long distance driving than the TTS.

Sounds like you have to be super careful getting your 5 in the garage too.
Getting out is fine with the mirrors, it is just judging the side clearance right going in.
Oh - and then getting out the door once the car is in the garage - the S5 doors are BIG :)

PS - what colour is the RS3 above ... Sprint blue ?

Try dropping your window it gives you more room to get out and set them up to open and close on the key fob.The RS3 is Cornflower Blue[the only one made in that colour] it belongs to 45bvtc[John] who is also on ASN.

Hmm thanks - yeah may try the window thing.

Ahh cornflower blue - very striking indeed !

3sdm's are finally on :)

My 2010 3.0TDI. with first few mods. De chromed window trims and fog surrounds and fitted Rs5 gloss black grill. Paint work was in a sorry state so I've had the front end and drivers side re painted which was expensive but I'm now happy with the overall look. Next on the cards is some tints and then looking into a remap. Cheers
